ExCAL were engaged by LAS Waste to obtain planning permission for a new transfer station for special waste, and to agree the conditions of the new waste management licence with the Environment Agency.

• An environmental impact assessment was undertaken to accompany the application
• A chemical and calorific analysis of briquettes was carried out.
• A concrete slab was designed.
• A drainage connection was made.
• Planning permission was obtained for further buildings on the site.

ExCAL have also provided environmental advice during the reclamation of a site in Carmarthen for a new waste transfer station.
