ExCAL produced an environmental strategy document for Baglan Energy Park, a pioneering new development unique to the UK (for more on BEP, see the Neath Port Talbot client page).

ExCAL have undertaken a desk study and site investigation to identify potential constraints to, and opportunities for, development for a site at Forge Fach in Clydach. The investigation was followed by a development study in which uses for various parts of the site were proposed.

ExCAL were also commissioned by the Welsh Development Agency to prepare hypothetical atmospheric dispersion models for the proposed development of an Embedded Electricity Generation Plant, at Swansea Industrial Estate, Fforestfach.
