In Situ Chemical Testing

The ability to test for chemicals on site saves both time and money, and is therefore a valuable asset to any site investigation or remediation.

On-site testing (chemical and physical) can be carried out on water samples for many determinants and parameters over a range of concentrations. These include: Chemical oxygen demand (COD) pH Electrical conductivity Metals Inorganic ions (chloride, nitrate, cyanide, etc.) Ammonia Hydrogen sulphide

Chemical analysis for key critical organic contaminants can be also undertaken on site using enzyme techniques (Ensys kits). Tests can be carried out on soil or water samples for:

• Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)
• Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)
• Total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPHs)
• Polychlorinated phenols (PCPs)
